West Alabama's Area Agency on Aging serves older adults, disabled individuals at any age, and caregivers in Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Pickens, and Tuscaloosa counties. The Area Agency on Aging helps older adults and people with disabilities live with dignity in their homes and communities for as long as possible through a comprehensive coordinated system. Our agency offers caregiver support, home & community based services, insurance counseling, home delivered meals, senior activity centers, long term care advocates, prescription assistance, senior employment, health promotion classes, and much more!! Looking for part-time employee to provide fun, exercise and social activities w young adult w Down syndrome. He’s vocal-verbal, kind and shy. No medical or nursing needs at all. More like companion for DS adult to give him confidence and some independence. Transportation required. Call 205-394-1038
