Event Description:
Join The University of Alabama (UA) College of Education's literacy faculty, pre-service teachers, UA groups, Roll Tide for Reading, and local community organizations, including the Tuscaloosa Public Library, the Alabama Reading Initiative, and House Tuscaloosa, for interactive literacy experiences designed for children and teens in pre-kindergarten through middle school.
Activities include:
-virtual reality experiences
-coding
-book giveaways
-storytelling and reader's theatre
-writing experiences
-take home strategies for families
-free community resources
-light refreshments
